“We are one, but we’re not the same. We get to carry each other, carry each other. One…” 這是愛爾蘭搖滾天團 U2 最膾炙人口經典金曲《ONE》的歌詞，從男女情愛延伸到跨越種族、膚色、宗教、國籍的「世界大同」歌詞意境，追求的不是齊頭平等、不是消弭差異的強迫同化，反而還強調在保有、尊重彼此主體性的前提下將愛昇華。
We are one, and we don"t have to be the same.
這四個友好樂團，被U2認同這樣的理念下集結起來，籌辦了這樣一場聯合演出；而預訂在今年七月發行第一張錄音室專輯的橙草樂團，也將送給每位參與”we are one”活動的朋友一張EP（收錄 goodbye my friend、積雨雲）。
